Lost Temple of Treasures Camp

Friday, March 3rd

$80/day, 9-4pm (Ages 5-11)

Mini Camp

$45/day, 9-1pm (Ages 3-6)

Up for a challenge..like solving riddles…good at finding clues?  If so, this is the camp for you!  Participants will be challenged to a quest where they will put their skills to the test.  Today campers will experience the Rainforest Lost Temple quest.  Campers will be presented with a challenging mystery quest  and will have to solve it finding hidden clues as they seek out treasure and hidden idols.  Dust off your magnifying glasses, put your thinking caps on, and get ready to go on the ultimate quest. Animal Trainer/Zoo Keeper Camp

Lions, Tigers & Bears OH MY. Well here at EcoAdventures it’s Gators , Snakes & Lizards, OH MY!   Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be an animal keeper?   If yes, then you’ve come to the right place. Not only has some of our staff worked in some great zoos and aquariums but we have a great collection of our own! This camp was designed for students that want to find out what it is like to work with animals. Maybe you could be a dolphin trainer or animal trainer, or even a vet? It a lot of fun working with animals but you will also be introduced to the non –glamorous things you do as a zoo keeper. That’s right- the yucky stuff- Clean poop! We won’t make you clean it- but you can get to make, inspect and eat your own edible chocolate poop for a snack to give you energy to prepare to pass the physical tests:   shoveling hay, carrying heavy buckets of food? Play some fun relay races to prove you are ready! What are the requirements to be a zookeeper. And what can you do now to get ready. Your fun filled zoo day will be accompanied by lots of hands-on encounters, feeding demonstrations, live animals, props, crafts, and more. Harry Potter Camp

$80/day, 9-4pm (Ages 5-11)

Whoa….an owl just showed up…and it dropping you an invitation to attend Eco-Hogwarts Camp!  Don’t miss out on this one, so hurry and put on your robes and gather your broomsticks as we explore the magical world of Harry Potter! As soon as campers arrive they will be whisked away to the castle where they will meet their classmates and try on the sorting hat as they take part in our very own sorting ceremony!!!  Whether they are Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, Slytherin, or Ravenclaw, they will be sure to have a spellbinding time as we dive into all things magical! Every “witch and wizard”  will get the chance to explore all that Hogwarts has to offer, while attending classes, such as potions, herbology, care of magical creatures,  and even quiditch! All of our magical campers will get hands-on experience learning what it takes to cast the perfect spell, and you can’t do that until you have made your very own magical wand, which they will get to design!!  And, as usual at EA, there will be plenty of magical snacks along the way.  Yum!! In addition, there there will be a special focus on magical creatures! And is if that wasn’t enough, all campers will get to learn how to tame mythical beasts, take special Green Screen photos with famous classmate Harry Potter,  and receive their very own animal patronuses, and much, much, more! Get your robes ready, as we hope to see you on the Hogwarts Express very soon!

Itsy Bitsy Bugs Mini Camp

Tuesday, April 11th

Our little campers will focus on creepy crawlies, itsy bitsy spiders, beautiful colorful butterflies, learn about metamorphosis, glow in the dark critters, see other cool animals, fun crafts, snacks and games and more!

Gold Rush Camp

Back by popular demand! This camp could just pay for itself – In this exciting program, campers will relive the California Gold Rush…EcoAdventure style!!!  In this expedition we’re going to head outdoors and hike down the hill to prospectors creek, where kids will learn the technique of panning for gold…or fools gold in this case.  Fingers are crossed that we hit “pay dirt” on this gold grubbers adventure.  Kids will stake their claim, get a taste a mining life, and learn what it takes to be a real life prospector. Then go to the trading post where kids can trade in some of their gold for goodies….Catch the fever….sign up now (can you afford not to?), it’s GOLD RUSH!!!!

Easy Rider Horse Camp

Meet and pick up at Easy Rider Ranch. Giddy up campers…time to saddle up and hit the trails! This half day camp will lead you into a world of horses at the Easy Rider Ranch in Hanover, MD. Campers will make horse crafts, play horse games, learn about safety around horses, grooming, tacking up, and will participate in trail rides (or pony rides for the younger campers). Take a breath of fresh air and get ready for a day of good, old fashioned camp-out fun! Kids will leave civilization behind as we head out into the great outdoors to learn all about nature, joys of the outdoors, tracking animals, building shelters, navigating, safety and survival strategies, and much more.  We’re talking about pitching tents, reading the stars, using a compass, building shelter, survival skills, and more!

Zoo Trip – Babies in Bloom

ROAD TRIP!!  For all Party Animals..we’re going to THE ZOO! That’s right- Spring is here and we’re taking a field trip to the Baltimore Zoo!  We will be putting our regular campers to the test to see how much they have learned about animals at EcoAdventures!  Best of all our very own animal experts will be the guides, pointing out all the sights and sounds of the Maryland Zoo.  Following our feeding frenzy( lunch),  we head back to EcoAdventures for some hands-on interactions with our very own baby animals, Animal Trivia Game, and Animal crackers snack. NOTE: Drop off time: 8:45am

Price Includes:  Zoo admission (9:30-3:00pm with van transportation to the Zoo.)

Mission “ECO-POSSIBLE”

Dr. Edna the explorer, a world-famous wildlife expert, needs your help! Her mission is to save endangered animals that have been captured by poachers, when she got captured herself! Luckily she escaped, but it seems that her journal pages have gone missing! We need your help finding the missing journal pages.  Your mission is to help Dr. Edna decipher the clues so that she can return the animals back to their homes all around the world. In this hands-on animal adventure, you will encounter many animals, from glowing scorpions and spiky lizards, to alligators and giant pythons. We need some brave explorers to solve clues and help Dr. Edna save the animals along the way!  Campers will have fun solving this World Wildlife Mission full of secret decoding, forensics, and more!
